The SC-7 General MIDI Sound Module is a stand-alone sound module, which contains 128 General MIDI compatible wavetable synth-sounds and 6 drum sets. You can also finish these sounds using the onboard digital reverb and chorus.

The SC-7's GM Sound Set contains 128 different high-quality sounds that allow you to create just about any kind of music. The sounds include realistic piano, various stringed instruments, brass instruments, even sound effects, and much more. The SC-7 also has six complete drum sets including the standard drum set (conforming to GM Percussion Map). Because the SC-7 lets you play up to 16 different instruments at once using a maximum of 28 notes, you can come up with fully orchestrated arrangements to suit any music style. BUILT-IN MIDI INTERFACE
A built-in MIDI interface allows you to directly connect the SC-7 to the RS-422/232C connector of your computer. No matter if your computer is a Mac, IBM or clone, you won't need an additional MIDI interface. You can use the SC-7 with an Atari computer via MIDI. The white SC-7 is compactly designed to take up minimal desktop space, fitting well into your computer environment.
STEREO AUDIO INPUTS
The SC-7 has two pairs of stereo audio inputs so that two external sources may be simultaneously input and mixed. For example, you can input music and voice from the computer's internal sound source and a CD-ROM to the SC-7 and mix it with built-in sounds.
Input 1 has a level control to optimize the SC-7 with sources having fixed-level outputs.
